A photograph that I took.
I don't know exactly why I like it, but I do.

A pic of a lil mushroom I took.

Very rough, unfinished work, but as I am distracted by Php and Mysql at present and do not believe I will finish this piece any time soon I present it for your perusal as a work in (momentarily paused) progress.

"Midnight's Angel"

Though I have so often created images that draw from more Fae aligned imagery I wanted to do something in an angelic theme, clothed in the raiment of heaven as it were...

"Nightmare" By William Hoffman

Newest piece. It may appeal to those of you with a bent for the surreal.

The master is 2987 by 4035 pixels (in case I decide to print it at near poster size), its in a near finished state. But I've gone with only three hours of sleep for the last two days and so Here it is in Beta. Larger images are beneath the cut.

Luminous Fae

Luminous Fae by Aubryn

A rare deviation from the norm. Though this journal is a quasi-space dedicated to showcasing my artwork I spoke with someone who will one day grace us with her own, and she showed me a piece of her art which I thought very pretty and believed would look interesting in colors and shades. I asked her if she would mind if I altered it a bit and posted it up for all to see - and she said she would not, thus this piece by Aubryn, colored and shaded somewhat by myself.

Holding Back The Sky

Holding Back the Sky
A photogragh of mine. This image caught my eye.

I gazed up to branches held in winter's cool embrace,
beneath a sunless heaven.

Twilight, nestled between the last of the day and just before the coming of the night.
The image seems surreal to me, more like a watercolor than a frozen crystal memory, but it was not a dream, it was reality. If but for a brief moment.

I was there... and I will go back soon.
To breath the air, listen to the things that are too easily forgotten behind the stone and glass, and wait for the coming of the moon and stars...

Paines Prairie

Generally speaking, when the sign says "prohibited" "no admittance beyond..." "by order of..." etc. I stay away. It is part of my nature. A character trait that has defined - and limited - me, for a very long time.

But this day I was convinced by a dear friend, to travel off the beaten path, beyond the edges of the known, into the border of the forbidden, and to the heart of beauty that is hidden.

There was quite a bit of walking, fence hopping, rickety bridge crossing, and general good fun involved.

Though there is no way that I can share the majesty of the day, the cool pleasure of the dark night stroll out beneath the moonlight, or the joy that I felt in the company of a friend, I can and shall share this fragment of an image, a treasure from the expedition. It lies, beneath the lj-cut.

There is a cat that has taken up residence upon the porch. I snapped this shot a while back, and think mayhaps now is a good time to share as his boldness is I believe, worthy of preserving for posterity.

Behold OldKitten, King of the Porch. His subjects include the fearless grey kitten that roams about and will let you pet him without fear, and the timid all black kitty that hides beneath the house until no one is near.

"Winter's Queen" By William Hoffman

A work in progress. (As evidenced by the misalignments of some elements) I would normally leave something so unfinished off the site, but I don't know that I will return to it anytime soon.

"Innocent Delights" By William Hoffman

Why must I be inspired the very night before I have to work till 1 am? *Sighs* Very much a work in progress as I must surrender to the weight upon me and admit my need for restful sleep.

I am doing a little better emotionally these past few days ...

As always the larger (Though still rough and scaled down significantly) image lies beneath the lj-cut.
